This is my 1978 BMW R45 that have extensively modified.

I bought this as standard R45 and have carried out these modifications  myself  { am an engineer in the motor trade} and am very pleased with the result. Quite lot of weight has been removed as well as lighter parts used {alloy mudguards} and so this bike is fair bit quicker than standard R45. It is great fun to ride and attracts lot of positive attention. am only selling it to fund another project. The M.O.T runs out March 2017. The mileage is about 45,000 but obviously fitted new speedo; do have the previous M.O.T's to prove the mileage though.The tyres are nearly new,the valve clearances have been checked,the clutch adjusted,oil filter,oil,air filter,gear oil,final drive oil replaced. It doesn't  burn oil and is good starter.The gears change smoothly and there are no nasty noises from anywhere.
