1989 Benelli 125cc 2C Custom
Stunning Twin Cylinder Classic PerformanceMOT Until April 2020
This listing is for my motorbike as pictured and the pictures for part of the description. It is very original bike and has only covered just 7000km which equates to less than 5000 miles. It starts 1st time every time and is very comfortable ride with its cruiser position but can also deliver very impressive turn of speed from its twin cylinder stroke engine, it is more than capable of keeping pace with an RD125. It is the very rare and late Custom model of the 2C range and has not been messed about with other than the addition of heated grips in the past. The chrome work is in fantastic unblemished condition with the exhausts almost as good as new. Its still running on the original 6V system and the battery is good. The seat is also perfect and there is no crash damage on the bike, one original key and the V5 is present in my name. This is working usable 30 year old motorbike that has not been restored so despite its very low mileage its general condition is not as new.
Bad bits: The tank has not been repainted and there are epoxy repairs on the bottom edge (see pics) however the tank is airtight and does not leak.The side cans are missing fixing lug from each side and are currently secured by ties.The chain is original as are the front and rear sprockets, they may need replacing soon if the bike is to be used daily. The pedal and handle rubbers are worn at the ends, have replaced one foot rubber since the photos.
The bike runs and rides well with long MOT but due to the fact that it is 1989 bike in original unrestored condition it is sold as seen.
