For sale.My old faithful softail,Really unsure about selling this as it's been great bike.I bought this few years ago, the chap had it from purchased it in the belief it was genuine harley fatboy, it was an import from the states, he had few niggles and took it to harley shop to be informed that it wasn't genuine harley, it was in fact paughco kit bike that to the untrained eye looked exactly like fatboy, he was that pissed by this he went out and purchased fatboy and sold this one on££I bought it,  not giving shite about that, says harley Davidson 1340 on the logbook so that good enough for me! then started about making bike could ride, no matter the weather etc, so ditched the solid wheels and fitted set of spoked, had these powder coated satin black to make them weather friendly and give the desired look, fitted new bearings front and back, new discs, tyres, tubes,  billet front caliper, new brake hoses with new pressure switches, heritage mudguard up front, little apes, shaved stock levers, kustom tech switches, dulled most the chrome, put old style seat on with custom fabbed pogo look Frame to support it, old style rear mudguard,  swapped the rear swing arm as had stock harley one kicking around and preferred the stock one as like the castings on these more than the paughco ones welded axle plate look..... It has daytona ignition fitted, S&S carb and filter, Paughco pipes, STD cases, I'd imagine it's got cam in it as it pulls very well, it's crank case breather style motor not the later head breather model, had Alot of harleys in the past so..... the gearbox felt rough when first rode it, but had genuine low miles harley box spare, so fitted that with new clutch plates, steels and fibres, new pushrod, and bearing, fitted lighter clutch ramp too,  fitted D. I. chain and obviously sprocket conversion, there's no compensator in the primary, just sprocket on the motor, had no issues with clutch or box since, its been great, now there is few issues/niggles to sort if they bothered you,When fitted the chain had the wheel all the way forward obviously, which is fine normally, but under hard acceleration these style tyres grow and its rubbed abit of flat on the tyre,  so it wants link chucking back in, which have,  there was no bump stops fitted at first so the mudguard has hit the frame, I've since fitted bump stops, but these may need spacing out if you repair the dent, or adjust the shocks to suit, they do have the height adjusters,There's no speedo cable drive or cable fitted, would be easy enough to fit one if you wanted to tho, doesn't bother me not having one, have probably done 2000 miles on this bike and loved every minute, If your harley purist and want original this bike is probably not for you,I'M NOT INTERESTED IN SWAPS OR OFFERS, WILL JUST IGNORE YOU IF YOU ASK, I'M NOT BOTHERED IF THIS DOESN'T SELL, DON'T NEED THE MONEY, JUST HAVE TO MANY BIKESCash or bank transfer on collectionTo answer few questions keep getting asked.....It's not plate!!! It's registered on reg (94 think) have the paperwork for when it was issued registration, it has about 10 months mot
