Honda CRF250X 2006 model (was road legal) NON RUNNER
For sale is my 2006 CRF250XI bought this with the intentions of doing load of green laning but actually ended up not using it very much.
I mostly just rode it to small mx track every now and again.
I made some additions such as an aluminium sump bash plate, reinforced brush guards and also fitted Trailtech Vapour mini dash with speedo reader fitted with magnetic brake disc bolt.  Large number plate and ridiculous horn are unfortunately MOT requirements.
Unfortunately the bike does not run and suspect the valves need replacing.  It's common complaint on these bikes that the titanium valves wear quickly and require frequent shimming.  Unfortunately did not bite the bullet and get them replaced, as spent over £500 having various bits of work done to service it and get it road legal for its first MOT.  After while the usual symptoms of the valves needing doing came back, i.e. Hard to get restarted when hot.
My plan was to get some stainless steel valves and updated springs fitted (about £140 for the kit off eBay currently https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171350567036)
But kids and very little time has meant this has never happened and is not likely to either.
The bike has been sat for about years and although it was covered it is showing signs of wear, i.e. The chain is rusted, the battery is dead, there are bits of rust on some bolts.
The bike rolls, the brakes both work and the engine turns over freely on the kick starter.  The suspension compresses and rebounds as expected.
However, am no bike mechanic so it is sold as seen with NO WARRANTY and although am pretty sure it's the valves that need sorting you should make your own decisions when bidding.
I have attempted to take as many pictures as possible to show the condition of the bike.  There is some rust on the fork stanchions, some of which has simply rubbed off with little WD40 but don't have the time to fully clean and see if there is any serious pitting.  I have more pics but can't seem to get them all on eBay so message me if you need more.
Annoyingly the chain was brand new when got it MOT'd but looks awful now, it may clean up, it may not.
Tyres are in reasonable nick and have spare rear tyre that has never been fitted.I may also be able to find some spare oil filters in the shed to be thrown in as well.
I have the V5C in my name plus some odd receipts for work done.
Cash only on collection, and only bid to buy.  I have been honest with the description and pictures so please don't turn up and then try to haggle.  If you want to see the bike before buying just message me, I'm in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
Any other questions just message me.

Fork guards were just unscrewed to take pictures of the stanchions, they are not broken.
Please see my other items for some boots and knee guards as well.
