Here is my CX500, it has been off the road for few years, purchased it few months ago, cleaned the carbs and put fresh coolant and oil in and decent battery and away she went, lovely quiet engine with no issues, then turned my attention to the bodywork, there is sets of plastics black or white but only tank which had liner that had started to peal inside, so cleaned the tank out and then it leaked like bucket, so had it repaired properly by fabricator, who remade one side of the tank and float soldered some other small leaks, then cleaned the tank, and now it is clean inside and leak free.
The paint job is rattle can by myself...its black and its shiny...but if your picky it could be better.
Everything on the bike works as it should, and am pretty sure the fork seals need replacing, and the front brake feels spongy, have bled it through and there is no air..perhaps they were not that good in the 80's?
Anyway, the bike is what it is...and its cheap with no reserve, there is spare fairing, side panels, tailpiece in white to go with it, along with another pair of forks, and set of wheels....plus box with other odds and sods in.
I have fitted new clutch cable and the tyres are good.
The bike is in Camborne Cornwall and will need collecting from there cash on collection or bank transfer...this is the cheapest CX500 Eurosport you will find.
