Welcome to my auction for my GL1200AH Goldwing Aspencade.

It has developed an overheating issue, which has been attributed to leaking cylinder head gasket. 
Having recently spent considerable sum replacing the final drive have decided not to spend any more on the old gal, hence am selling as project.

Good points;
10 months Mot
Recent new rear tyre
Recent oil change, oil filter, air filter, brake pads fluid change
New front rear EBC brake discs 2yrs ago.
Stainless steel exhausts
Good overall condition
Documented service history with receipts over the last 16yrs

Bad points;
Overheating issue (a new cylinder head gasket will be included in the sale)
Paint scratched in places (it is still the original paint though)
Offside fork seal weeping slightly.
Choke cable needs lubing
Centrestand needs sorting (I took it off to get the foot push bar welded never got around to it)
Front tyre has very slow puncture (a brand new Metzler white wall tyre will be included in the sale)
Engine has covered 102k miles is rattly (primary chain?) would definitely benefit from rebuild

I have spares engine which will be included in the sale which is stripped, but complete apart from the rear cover stator.
It was my intention to one day rebuild the original engine using any parts required from this, but have just been offered complete engine for £120, which would be much quicker way to proceed. will let the successful buyer have details of this.

Also included is drivers backrest in good order, and towbar which needs repair.
