This is my Honda MBX80 in excellent condition considering it's over 30 years old.Owned by me since 2010 and also previously in 1990/91. It has been thoroughly overhauled in the last few years not nut and bolt restoration) and now rides really well.Work that has been carried out includes engine rebored to 0.5 oversize with genuine Honda piston, and crankshaft rebuilt with all genuine Honda bearings, seals, conrod and gaskets. All engine work was carried out by Rob Pemberton of Spa motorcycles of Cheltenham regularly featured in classic motorcycle mechanics magazine). Forks have had new seals fitted with fresh oil, rear brakes have new shoes, front brake calipers have been rebuilt with new seals and other parts as well as new pads. master cylinder has been refurbished with new seals.The seat has been recovered to very high standard, all paintwork has been resprayed to very high standard. The only part that would benefit from little attention is the radiator guard.The bike has new battery, two new Michelin tyres, new wiring loom, petrol cap and mirrors.It's completely standard and comes with both the owners handbook and workshop manual along with some spares. rear grabrail, cables, spare piston, switchgear, rectifier, resistor, spare cylinder barrel with standard piston.I've just finished running the engine in and have now decided to sell to make room for new project.any questions please email or call/text on 07891294834collection only from Brockworth, just outside Gloucester.
