bought this last year. It appeared to have been disassembled (possibly to paint the frame) and the put back together loosely and not very well.
I spent some time putting it back together correctly and then took it for MOT which it passed it got advisories for damaged indicator and slight cracking between treads on the front tyre. It appears to be extremely original and unabused. The only non original parts are the stainless steel fittings used in place of missing nuts and bolts.
According to the DVLA website it was last on the road in April 1991. have the old type V5 which states the last change of keeper was in September 1991. It shows former keepers on the V5.
I suspect the indicated mileage of 14601 is genuine. The engine number matches the V5.
It runs and rides very well. Everything works as it should. It would benefit from thorough clean. The plastics are bit scruffy and have been painted in the past and there are several holes in the seat cover. It would benefit from new set of headset bearings.
