Thanks for looking at my Honda NSR 125 – 2003

 

Purchased in 2013 and ridden by my brother for year – with the intention of helping me restore her to the NSR look once the year was up.


Was put into storage from 2014-2017 when we took her out and began work – the mechanical side of the bike works fine, never missed beat. The fairings and overall look were very battered so we set about the restoration.


The bike was stripped and wheels repainted, bodywork corrected and painted in the original colours (had the colour codes taken from Honda and made up) – the decals were made specifically for this bike too. You can’t buy them online anymore 😊


Once put back together and few other little bits here and there (drive chain, throttle grip, clutch lever, brake discs etc etc) she now looks like this! Like someone treasures her!

As you can see since we done the back-breaking work she has taken garage related knock (annoying!!) – see pictures.

 

Overall great looking bike, have been told these two strokes are very fast and enjoyable. Although she hasn’t had good run in years she starts on the click – very good for stroke!


Millage on the clock shows 32k however, the engine has only done 10k miles (I knew the previous owner who had this replaced, and the same intentions as myself to rebuild her)

 

MOT until 29/04/2020 passed with no advisories!
