Selling my Honda NSR 125 2002 model.
I bought this after passing my CBT, probably to recapture my youth but did not understand how much maintenance stroke bike needs!!
Bike has been off the road for couple of months due to MOT running out, now have stroke, ULEZ complaint commuter ).
I have recently replaced the spark plug and removed and cleaned the full Arrow exhaust system supplied with this bike.
It has very good tyres, Avom Storm to the rear and Bridgestone Battlax to the front).
Recent new chain and sprockets, (heavy duty).
Does not have original mirrors and the current ones will need replaced as they are off my other motorbike.
This was my daily commute until the ULEZ charge was looming, unprepared to pay £12.50 per day to go to work decided to get compliant bike.
Before removing and cleaning the exhaust the rpm counter started bouncing all over the place at around 5000 to 7000 rpm, think this may have been down to excess spooge in the exhaust collector, (possibly jetting issue) but seems to be okay now.
Power valve works perfectly, (see video below to hear it working).
I am in no way stroke mechanic and though done some basic maintenance the bike still idles high and would benefit form top end rebuild at least, (if not full engine rebuild).
Also will need the carbs setting up correctly.
I put this in my back garden and broke the rear left indicator pushing it through my house.
The front and side fairings are not present, (see photos).
Wiring could do with an overhaul and everything electrical worked prior to breaking the indicator couple of days ago, now there is no left indicator flash, when turning on the right indicator the indicators flash like hazard lights?
Does not have original headlights, (see photos).
Tank has little rust around, (see photos).
Engine is very clean for age and suspension replaced by previous owner.
I replaced the front brake pads, rear pads are fine.
I have full replacement gasket set which supplied as well as front and rear wheel bearing set, (also supplied).
The front mud guard is cracked and has previously been repaired.
I did plan to restore this to its former glory, but now going for DAS and plan on getting something bigger than this.
A GREAT learner 125 when fully running and legit on the road, very fast for what it is.
This bike previously sold twice, but now relisted due to time wasters, please do not bid unless you intend to buy and collect.
***NB*** This bike has no MOT and needs little work and TLC to get it up and running perfectly again.
***NB*** Collection to be made evenings in the week as work full time.
You will need van or trailer to collect this!!
Starts on the button first time, (see video below, copy and paste to your browser to see and hear this start up).
