This is my own ST1300A which bought new in March 2005.  Since then it has covered 20,500 miles completelyreliably.  As mechanical engineer I’ve personallycarried out all the required servicing (including checking valve clearances at16,000 miles; unsurprisingly, no re-shimming required) and engine oil, brakeand clutch fluid changes.  The machinehas some minor scuffs on the plastic, no more than one would expect from somelong trips.  The only blemishes are somesmall bumps on each lower side of the fairing. These were caused by exhaust heat when left the engine running at thescene of an accident was helping at. There is also some scratching on the RH black polythene crash bar cover.The bike was purchased fully loaded and has the following additional equipment:ABS, Honda ‘U’ lock, Honda top box, fitted bags for panniersand top box, electrically adjustable screen, Honda radio (they do not workwell, even connected to an intercom) and have removed the antenna, Data Toolalarm system, Star com intercom, Smartwater forensic property marking, Honda immobiliser system (HISS),wiring for Snooper and radar warning, complete additional Honda weatherprotection (very effective),  rubber tankspads, variable temperature Honda heated grips (excellent),  Honda workshop manual,  12v power socket,  Clear plastic protective patches onvulnerable areas (tops of panniers etc).You will want to fit new front tyre soon.  Discs are excellent and pads are OK.  All keys are present.Pans often cover over 100,000 miles with only routineservicing (I know of an ex-para medic one with over 200k on the clock) andthere is no reason why mine should not do the same for you on interestingjourneys, or just popping out for spin on this easy to ride and powerfulmachine. have set sensible reserve and will be sorry to see the bike go,but now have BMW re-rebuilding project so space is needed.   MoT toFebruary 2018.  The bike is sold ‘as seen’and no warranty is implied or offered.  I have set low reserve of £2950.  I can deliver, at cost of fuel and personal return fare after payment is received.
