2006 Honda Varadero 125 Silver



For sale is my Honda Varadero 125 Finished in Spangle Silver.

I've owned this bike for little over two years, and it has been agenerally reliable commuter.

I have put over 15,000 miles on this bike with little more being neededthan basic servicing.

With only ??17 road tax, and 60 MPG it is an excellent commuter, and isunder the 15 BHP limit, so you can legally ride this bike on L-Plates.

After the purchase of my car late last year the bike has been sat in myworkshop, and needs to be sold. Since the main picture in the ad, ithas had the engine casings & swingarm painted. The paintwork isn'tthe best condition, with the tank needing respray ideally, and thefairings having been repaired, however It does look good from fewmeters away.

The Bikes M.O.T runs out on the 17th of March, however if the rightprice is met at auction, will put full 12 month ticket on the bike,it passed its last M.O.T with only one advisory, which loose wireunder the fairing (which has now been secured).

Since week or so before put the bike away for winter, it developedan electrical issue, where it would only charge the batteryintermittently. have replaced the battery, had new stator fitted,and new rectifier, all at great expense, however the charging stillcuts out sometimes, spoke to bike mechanic who assured me it isonly loose connection somewhere, and wouldn't be too dear for proto find & repair.

Other than the electrical issue, the paintwork being bit rough theonly other issue the bike has is the front brake is little spongy,but still stops the bike okay.

I recently had the rear brake caliper rebuilt with new seals & anew piston. It has had new chain & sprocket set less than 5,000miles ago.

The bike also has an alarm fitted, with remote start & otherfunctions. 
The bike is fitted with an ARROW Carbon & Aluminium exhaust, which sounds great for small V-Twin, will also include the OEM Honda silencer in the sale.

The bike will also come with Haynes Manual & If can find it acopy of the Honda Service Manual.

This bike is an excellent learner bike, and will easily handle roadtraffic (I have used this bike on motorways with no trouble), it isextremely comfortable, and handles pillion extremely well for 125.

A V5 for the bike is present, and you will be given the new ownersslip. As per new DVLA rules the bike does not come with tax.

Collection from Bolton/Chorley, or can arrange delivery anywhere inthe country for ??150 (excluding remote areas)
