For sale is my 1985 Honda VF1000RF. mot'd on 29/11/2109 with no advisories. imported this from Holland, switched the clocks to UK clocks, getting the clocks altered to exactly match the mileage. have evidence showing the mileage wasn't changed. Photo of that now added. Only 24,535 miles, so very low mileage. This is an un-restored bike and 35 years old, so does have few little marks here and there, but they are hardly noticeable. Recent oil change and new spark plugs, so everything works as it should, tyres have loads of life left in them, brakes fine, fork oil seals were replaced for the mot, all good. Mileage will go up bit as am using it when the weather allows, when it stops raining.Lovely smooth quiet powerful and very torquey V4 engine. Anyone looking will know the second generation, the RF model is the one to go for, the first generation had few issues, have look at Wikipedia. This one with the gold top yoke doesn't have any of those issues. The RE is for collectors just to look at, this one is good to look at and good to ride. Exhaust end cans aren't original, and they do make little roar, not much, but little bit.This bike with the twin headlight front, and twin rear is the best looking bike ever made, in my opinion. am only selling to buy my mates bike, not the right time of year to sell know, but needs must. This is highly admired bike, real head turner. Values are starting to climb now, as with other Hondas from the early 80's, so good solid investment for anyone. The new owner won't be disappointed. will want cleared funds before letting her leave me, bank transfer is fine as is cash. Viewings of course welcomed, please call me 0776 7062543. 
Tyres, rear is Dunlop code says 086, front is an Avon code says 511. So would be right in saying rear is Aug 2006 and front is May 2011. have had quote from my local guy for some new tyres, Continentals are £180 fitted, Pirellis's £240. My plan was to fit new set in the spring.
I have now added picture showing the mileage switch from kmh to mph. The engine sounds like swiss watch, beautiful, no smoke, as say above, the new owner won't be disappointed.
For the last minute people am out on Saturday until 6pm so cannot answer any questions, please ask before then, will do my best to answer them.
No swaps...…... wish Ebay would fix that problem, quite annoying.
