*VERY LOW MILEAGE* Honda VFR 800 VTEC, registered May 2005 now with only 4727 on the clock, YES 4,727, have used it since photo taken.
This bike has had two previous owners to me, both related to each other and the mileage is genuine, although this is not reflected in the service book and the original company who supplied the bike are no longer trading, mileage can however be verified by the previous owners.
The bike is in need of some work and initially purchased to do up over the coming months, already have VFR 1200 which is mint so this was project.
Work Needed.
The following really needs doing, replacing the oil cooler lines, re-chrome the front fork stanchions and replace the seals at the same time, clean up the fork legs, either paint or powder coat, give the brakes once over, most probably just fluid change would do it, also not needed for tread, but would also do the front tyre.The nearside fairing has crack (easily repaired) and the red on the rear is slightly faded.there is also some surface flaking around, but clean up will sort this.
Good Bits
Prior to me buying it the previous owner had, fitted new battery (Jan), changed the oil and filter and somewhere along the road it has had Scorpion exhausts fitted, sounds great, it also comes with the single seat cowling in red.
The bike can be collected in Guernsey, (so if taking it into the UK it will have to be registered etc in the UK) OR can deliver the bike to either Poole or Portsmouth and you will deal with it after that, the cost here would be £200, in addition to the £1650, if collected straight £1650 on collection.
Whoever buys if am to deliver it will require £250 payment up front, the balance of £1,600 on delivery, If collecting it's £1,650, however you want to do it, but cash before it leaves me
Be aware there is VAT to pay on the bike and you will have to have it MOT' etc, as we are different to the UK, don't ask me what the VAT is do not know.
Good project bike with very low mileage, hope haven't left anything out have been as honest as can, BUT please no silly offers, the price reflects the work to be done and the associated cost, would rather keep and do it up myself if not sold, so NO OFFERS, sold as seen.
