Here we have my own Honda VTR 1000 V-twin  track or race bike. do have the V5 should you want to put her back on the street. Be advised its track bike It is NOT mint. Its been used as track bike and the paintwork isn't mint! But it is clean and tidy respectable track day machine! The wheels have been powdercoated orange.
This was last on the road in 2016. Around then it was decided that if wanted to  keep my licence on the road, and my job, it was best that went back to racing or track days and stop riding on the road. I have, unfortunately two throttle positions in my brain. Open wide, or closed, and would, sooner or later, have lost my license! I had championship winning VTR when lived in the USA and missed the grunt and torque of the big "V"s, so we put this together.Ive had lots of fun on it, but Ive just had my 64th birthday, I've got spinal stenosis (look it up) and Ive put on about stone due to the meds, so chucking big about is just too much now. So Ive bought SV650 minitwin that Im sitting bit more upright on and is lot lighter.
This has (I was told when bought it), maxton internals in the front forks and im told the rear shock is Kawasaki ZX12R with mods but cant honestly tell you what. was told its been set up for 12 stone rider, which is probably about right because was 12.5 stone when bought it and it seemed well set up for me. Its got braided brake lines and sintered race pads. Recent uprated chain and sprockets that have done about afternoons at the track. Its running custom made into race exhaust system that sounds amazing. Pirelli Diablos front and rear. Its had brand new radiator, and new battery has been fitted today.Flip up race brake and clutch levers Front and rear crash bungsThe front fairing is Yamaha R1
It could be fairly easily put back on the road if you felt that way inclined, and would make really interesting and grunty streetfighter. Or you could daytime mot it with minor bits fitted. It would be ****ing awesome on the street. Its set up nice and docile out of the power band, and then when you wind it up over 4500 (which is where you want to be if on the track) it just takes off!!!!
Might take little old 125, 250 or similar or scooter to nip into work on, or to use as pit bike? But cash preferred TBH.Cash on collection or bank transfer before delivery. No exceptions.
