Lovely old Honda XL250R from 1983. Originally supplied to Belgium, the bike was imported and registered in the UK few years ago (2015). have all the documentation that relates to its registration, so all above board.
The bike has just sailed through its MoT with no advisories so is good now until June 2020. At last year's MoT it had new head race bearings, tyres and chain and sprockets fitted, so again all big expenditure has been done. The Mitas tyres have done less than 100 miles.
Overall the bike runs great, starts easily and can "cruise" at 60mph without any issues. I've seen 70mph with following wind... It can also do little light green laning, although serious off-roading might be bit much!
Condition is very good for the age. think the tank has been restored, while the other bodywork is in good but original condition. The engine etc has lost little paintwork but is presentable. Overall, it's usable bike that looks great, but could easily be turned into show-winner by someone with bit of time and expertise, and winter's work.
Because the bike is an import, the clocks are in KM, but the previous owner has marked out 30, 50 and 70 mph in tape.
All in all, this is great bike that am only selling because (as you can see from the miles since the last MoT) just don't get much of chance to use.
May swap for good Aprilia RSV Mille but not interested in anything else, so please don't try.
