Took this Kawasaki Chopper in on deal with another bike, I'm not dealer/trader but just fancied something bit different. This is registered as 1992 Kawasaki Zephyr 550, but the dealer that got it from has put Suzuki GSXR 750 engine in it, which he told me had about 20,000 mikes on it. Having rode it around the block, it's not my cup of tea, think choppers are an aquired taste, you love them or hate them! This bike starts first turn of the key, sounds really nice, it has full years MOT, the paintwork is not brilliant, it has cheap digital speedo fitted, the beauty of this Chopper is that unlike most, it's SOFTAIL! so it does'nt jar your back or dislodge your organs over every bump! This could be made into an amazing bike by someone who knows what they are doing. It has to go. It's too big for my little Mancave! Offers? Paul 07900 541875 Paypal or cash on collection.
I think this bike has been off the road for about 10 years, when checked the MOT history online, there is gap between September 2010 where it had 43,403 miles on it, to April 2020 where the MOT shows zero miles. (cheap digital speedo)
The last pictures are from ebay last week, from the dealer/trader that got the bike from, since then it's just sat in my little Mancave, it's just crying out for new owner who loves tinkering around with bikes, and luckily for the new owner, everything on this bike is easily accesible.
Back in the early 1970's used to be mechanic, hence have lots of ancient tools, and in that era, worked on Ford Anglias, Austin A40's, mk1 and mk2 Cortinas, Austin Cambridge's etc (showing my age now!) But i'm not into working on modern cars, and certainly not into working on motorbikes, Iv'e been driving Instructor for the last 31 years, but of course not worked for the last weeks, so due to social distancing, and the current situation, whoever buys this bike, if they tell me when it's being picked up, will park it in the public car park near my house, so no close contact, so Paypal prefered, if it's cash, then in an envelope please, placed on the ground 2-3 metres from the bike, I'm in my sixties and have asthma, so can't take any unnecessary risks! Happy bidding!£?
