Kawasaki KE100 G5 1978, UK registered,Tax exempt, Running and Rideable, Restoration project classic trail bike.
Bike is up and running, Mot Exempt and Tax exempt eligibleas over 40 years of age having covered on 6311 miles from new, the bike is invery good order. planned to get the bike up and running to prove it, Registerit then commence sensitive rebuild. Running, Riding and Registered is as far as have got but due toother bikes and lack of time I’m under pressure to thin my bikes out little.
This Bike is original with good chrome, working everything,tool case (some tools) good exhaust so would make very easy project forsomeone or with very little work or ride it as it is. have already commenced thecollection of all the parts to do full engine refresh to make this old bike areliable classic for many years to come.
These parts are, NOS genuine Kawasaki Piston, Little Endbearing and Piston rings, NOS Mikuni Carburettor (Fitted), Points (Fitted),Condenser (Fitted), Full Engine Gasket set, Crank Seals left and Right, KickStart seal and Full Clutch plate pack.  The Fuel tank issolid but due to poor attempt at liner previously needs the ruminants ofthis stripping and re coating (Tank liner removal kit and re coating kit supplied)it presently has poor fuel flow and the fuel has residue probably from theliner breaking down so needs doing, this could be done without damaging the outerpaint if you wish to keep the patina.
This will make great project for someone who wants aclassic trials bike with nice patina, original features but the benefit of allthe parts to fully refresh it without all the scouring the world as have already done some of that, these little strokebikes are rocketing in value with examples on here ranging from £1295 for an unregistered and tried on ether to £3195 for nice example.
