I had it MOT'd last month, no advisories at all. had new battery fitted and clutch cable...
The bike is registered as 1980 GS 550, which means that this year is the last year it will need to be taxed and MOT'd It will 40 years of age next year, so exempt as it will be regarded as classic.
The frame, front forks, front pegs, brake levers, gear shift lever, handle bars and cissy bars are all custom fabricated from scratch, as is the seat and the coffin tank with inset speedo.
The front wheel is from Suzuki Van Van, and the rear unit including the suspension is from Kawasaki VN650, both wheels have been powder coated in black.
The only issue have found with this bike is that the carburetors need tweaking, it can be pain to start from cold, and has flat spot when riding her, This could be down to the fact that it has been used so little, since have owned it have always drained the fuel before putting her away in the garage.
If you are looking for show bike that you can ride, then this could be for you, if however you are looking for daily commuter, than would not recommend this bike It is comfortable, but it is around 9' long...
I know that the previous owner had invested LOT of money in the creation of '28' this is what the bike was known as).
Any questions please feel free to ask.....
