Freak accident caused by tail bag coming loose and getting stuck in the rear wheel which caused pro-longed skid followed by the bike going down on it's side.
I've photographed twice so you can see the damaged areas with fairings on and off.
The bike is in pretty good shape overall. Still starts and runs as it should and can't see that it wouldn't be repairable and fit for the road. Having said this haven't ridden it since the accident so can't qualify that that's the case.
I am open to offers for the bike as whole or major parts like the engine/frame /exhaust/forks/shock/wheel make me sensible offer.
For those looking to repair for the road, the following will give you an idea of what it would need. cannot afford to put it back on the road myself.
Damage Summary:Dent to top front right of frame (has not distorted the frame's shape though)Front brake fluid reservoir cracked Clutch lever bentPetrol tank severely dented Air intake piping cracked All fairings cracked or scuffed in one way or another Small dent to rear exhaust can Scuffing to left hand engine casing (stator cover)Severe dent to rear wheel Rear mud guard and plastic under-tray missing cracked All indicators missingFront "jig"/bolt-on frame which supports the headlight and front fairing/wind shield and mirrors is badly bent
This has been an excellent bike since owning it for the last years, it really has.
Regular oil and filter changes have been made and the engine and gear box and clutch are still as they should be.
There were no loss of fluids after the accident.
