am selling my Bandit 1200 Streetfighter which have owned for the last 17 years. bought it as mint standard bike have had all the work done my self. It has never been dropped, crashed or been down the road etc. Overall would say the bike is in fantastic condition (although not perfect) which will highlight later on in the description to be fair to all parties. have set what consider to be fair reserve price considering the amount of kit that it has am more than happy to answer any questions about the bike strongly recommend viewing it if you are serious about buying it.If you do not like attention then this will not be the bike for you because it is loud gets attention wherever it goes the only reason that am selling is that unfortunately do not get chance to use it as much as would like need the space in my garage.BodyworkThe bodywork is standard tank seat unit with carbon front mudguard and belly pan. It has been re-sprayed in burgundy candy extra sparkle gold. The fuel filler cap has gold anodised Pro Bolt bolts. There is couple of very small chips on the small square panel of the seat unit and one of the holding brackets is broken which can be seen on the photo without the seat on. There is also small crack on the front mudguard also shown on photo. The seat unit stays in place does not move at all think could be plastic welded if needed. However, none of these thing detract from the overall appearance of the bike.Suspension/DrivetrainThe standard rear shock was replaced by Maxton unit which improved the handling no end along with the gold anodised GSXR 1100 forks at the front end The brakes are standard bandit ones with gold disk carriers on the front wavy disk at the rear. The callipers have Pro Bolt gold coloured Titanium bolts at the front rear and the gold Renthal rear sprocket has extra teeth. EngineThe engine has Dyno Jet kit fitted along with K&N pod filters, and 40 bhp nitrous oxide kit. There is Billet ally engine casing by Big CC Racing along with crank case breather &  Pingle high flow fuel tap. Pro Bolt titanium bolts have been used throughout the engine there are Billet ally cam to cam links. am not certain if the nitrous is fully working because the bottle is empty it has not been used in few years. However, all of the fitting etc are intact if there is problem it may be solenoid or something similar, however, am not mechanic. From the collector box back the exhaust is one off stainless steel Zorstec under seat exhaust which looks sounds fantastic (pops bangs nicely).GeneralThe seat has recently been re-sculpted recovered. The front light is new is bobber/café racer type the rear light has been replaced by one with integrated indicators carbon surrounding the back lights themselves. There are Renthal bars up front with gold anodised reservoir caps with matching new gold anodised ally bar end mirrors. Braided hoses have been used throughout. Both tyres have done less than 200 miles there is 10 moths MOT left on the bike it has covered about 38k miles is as sweet as nut. The carbs were also cleaned last year but could possibly do with balancing. It also has jack up kit fitted along with chromed rad cover rad mounted indicators. will also include Simpson Detour Predator bikini fairing that was fitted onto the bike before changed it for the single headlight.In the photo's the speedo is actually GPS pushbike speedo which was used last time went out on it. However mini speedo is the one that have been using and it will be supplied with this along with the speedo cable.I have probably missed some things but you can see from the pictures what an awesome looking bike it is.
I have been as honest as possible in my description but welcome any questions and am happy for people to view the bike but there will be no test rides without the cash in my hand for obvious reasons. am located in Warrington am 15 mins drive from either the M62, M6 or M56 motorways. It will be cash on collection you are bidding to buy it not waste time or tyre kick. All the mods have been declared on my insurance and as such the bike is listed on insurers data bases as modified bike. However, the insurance premiums for modified bikes is quite cheap in comparison to what was paying when the Nitrous was first fitted only one insurer would cover me.If you have any question then please call me on 07810-648-747.
