The V5 is in his name and the bike is kept at his address from where it will need to be collected.
This is completely original Suzuki FR80 with genuine 2,415 miles!
As you can see from the last image, it has not been on the road since 1985!
It starts and the engine runs perfectly!
So restore or recommission, get it MOT'd and use as is the choice is yours.
Obviously there is work to do before returning it to the road.

Can ride the bike home?
Absolutely not. It's not only illegal but will be unsafe! As I've already stated, the bike has been in storage for over 30 years and will at the very least require recommissioning that means going over everything to ensure it's working correctly and safely. What if the brake cable were to snap?
AS RESPONSIBLE PERSON WILL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ALLOW SOMEONE TO TURN UP AND SIMPLY RIDE THE BIKE AWAY.
