up for auction is 1980 Suzuki gs1000s factory wes cooley, this is genuine factory wes cooley, imported this from the USA, it comes with title and nova, engine and frame numbers are within the range of the register, if you look at the factory ones the front foot rests are set back more than normal gs1000, this is one of the ways of telling an original one, have seen on eBay this week and the gear lever is direct on to the gearbox, just thought id let you know, always confirm the frame and engine numbers because factory ones are worth twice the money as gs1000, know to the bike, this bike starts and runs very well have put new petrol tap on it, it comes with complete strip kit see photo of mine use, it will need tires, and horn, not working, indicators brakes work fine, it will need mirror glasses and repair to the clock surround, there is small crack in the nose cone, the time clock works fine, on the factory ones there is switch under the nose cone so you can turn it off when parked up,they are original silencers no rot, the alternator case has been chromed and is coming off so will need stripping and polish, same with the clutch cover,the pant work on the frame is not bad at all, the front forks are good no leaks, so with little work this bike can be back on the road, have the tin ware painted and it will look nice bike, this is very good bike just paint work spoils it, have tried to explain everything what can see, they are cracking bike to ride better than the any z900 by far, any questions just ask, no buy it know sorry.
