Suzuki GS550E 1980 SOLD FOR SPARES OR REPAIRS.....................i bought this bike with the intention of restoring it but having too many projects on the go which means this has to be sold.The bike is in reasonable condition for its age but the photos do make it look better than it isThe rear brake has been overhauled as it was seized up but all the running gear, tyres, chain and sprockets, lights etc all in good order.Carbs have been serviced with some new parts fittedNew batteryfitted with Motad exhaustIt smokes badly, when started it up after changing the oil and plugs it started smoking badly and fouling the plugs so i'm thinking it may have gummed up piston rings but it will need the top end removing and checking out.other than that the engine was quiet with no nasty knocking soundsTried to be as honest as can but remember this bike is 36 years old,,,Cash on collection
