I've owned this bike since November 2017. Rides well, great condition for age. I've maintained and improved the bike replacing the following:
Front and rear wheel bearings.Fork oil seals.Fork oil.Yuasa battery.Starter solenoid.Brake pads front and rear.Rear caliper brake pins.Rear brake caliper seals.Petrol tap.Oil filter.Engine oil.NGK spark plugs (full set).Gear change linkage rod.Various stainless steel fasteners.
I've improved the general condition of the bike by:
Blasting and powder coating wheels, pillion grab handles, side stand and engine mounting plates.Blasting and painting front fairing/headlight sub frame.Chrome plating chain adjusters, rear wheel spindle nut and steering head nut.
I have two keys for the bike and some paperwork including the V5 in my name.
Runs and rides well. MOT til 10th April 2020. An appreciating modern classic! First of the water cooled engines. Sad to see her go!
