Here we have for sale, Suzuki RV125 "VanVan". The bike was owned by my brother few years ago and was immaculate and running like clockwork. He passed his test and sold it to friend who put brand new set of bridgestone tyres on (like new, 200 miles on them). New chain and sprockets and good service, then one day it "blew up" on him. He left it to perish in the garden and rot away for year, then got my hands on it. The lad wasn't very clued up on bikes so checked it over, suspected tensioner failure but was surprised to find it had very good compression, nice bright spark and was getting fuel. bought new battery, had tinker and got it running. Now the fun part, it does have nasty rattle, so I've only ran it for very short while. started it just before advertising, very briefly and it started instantly on the button. took short video if anybody wants to hear it run. Looking online on forums, the rattle is more likely collapsed clutch basket, if so, it's very easy fix. It certainly doesn't sound like big end rattle as it's not deep "clunk" and it doesn't do it on every rotation. It's lovely, little desirable bike which will hold its value. I'd be made up if could keep it and invest the time in it as it's not an expensive project. Just cosmetic imperfections and some rusted, seized bits. just can't get round to it with work commitments. The bike is located in Kirkby, liverpool. It is complete, have the side panels, too, and an ugly top box thing. Front brake caliper has been removed as it has seized for moving purposes. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. do beg not to be messed about, can't afford to be re-listing time and time again. It's expensive and unnecessary.
