Up for sale is my 1978 Suzuki DS125 mot until 6/9/2019 but will now be tax and mot exempt as of this year as all vehicle built before 1979 are now tax exempt, the Suzuki DS model is basically stripped back off road version of the TS125 but sporting 14hp 1hp more than the TS125, believe it was only sold in the USA as an off road only bike. This bike was imported and restored back in 2013 and registered in 2014 with an age related plate and made road legal, am the only keeper since registration. The bike is painted in the original orange colour, the frame and swing arm and triple tree has been powder coated gloss black. Steering head bearings have been upgraded to taper bearings. Both wheels have had new bearings. New rear shocks. Font forks are in good condition. The wheels Rims are in good condition considering the age of the bike. The engine has been completely rebuilt new Wossner piston bored out +1mm, new little end bearing and big end bearing and main bearings also crank was checked for alignment. Engine starts first/second kick and pulls well. Recent chain and sprockets. only bad things is that some of the paint is worn off the engine casings eitherside from where my boots have rubbed. The bike is fitted with the original 6v AC headlight and taillight and switchgear. I’ve added 12v led light which is powered by rechargeable lithium ion battery which is located under the seat. Makes lot of difference if your riding the trails at night. Ideal for someone who is on plates and likes classic bikes or 2stroke fan.
