Bought brand new in 1999 from continental Europe so speedo in kilometers.
Over the past 20 years have put 97,000 kilometers (60,700 miles approx.) on the clock. With GN250cc think: Volvo, Saab, Landrover, Mercedes, if looked after from new will give hundreds of thousands of miles service, and this bike has been well looked after.I deliberately ran in this bike over 9,300 miles so that valves were correctly seated and no knocks from any gears. Servicing at: 600, 3000, 6000, and 9,300 miles.Gears are not used equally so saying bike is 'run in' after certain amount of miles can only be guideline the bike is run in when each gear has been carefully 'matured'.The bike has never been "hammered" so because of all the care taken today the engine is sweet as .it purrs like kitten.
The only reason for me selling it now is that I'm 72 years old, on palliative care for cancer, and don't want it left for my brother to deal with. This is also why the extras are thrown in.

The bike comes with custom made front mudguard flap holder and substantial custom made luggage rack.
I have had to do SARS so at the moment the bike is declared off the road but the MOT runs until 20th May.There is some petrol in the tank and I'm keeping the battery charged so that potential buyer can test the engine.
This is collection only.message me with any questions.
On 11-Feb-20 at 13:03:58 GMT, seller added the following information:Additional information.I was always in the habit of replacing the innertubes when replacing the tyres but because haven't used the bike very much in the past two years had both innertubes replaced even though they were perfectly okay. Also, am aware that the battery has been on the bike for some time so have just spent £38 on new Exide battery.I have records for all front and back tyre replacements, disk brake replacement, and oil changes (the latter will not need changing for quite some time).
