All hail to the mighty VX Probably the most underrated motorcycle from the 90's out there. classic naked, Universal Japanese Motorcycles, as the guys from Classic Motorcycles Mechanics put it, the VX800 was Suzuki project based on the Intruder of that time, meant to attract new category of clients. And it did. dozen in US, about two dozens in Germany and probably five in UK. One of those is now up for sale, after proving it really is what it says on the tin: cheap and fun bike that can do anything, without excelling anywhere:

The bike was recently serviced. The brakes were upgraded by the previous owner with braided lines and completely rebuild calipers pistons and seals. The rear shocks are new, 1' longer than standard, to close little more the rake and trail. Forks recently serviced with new bushings, seals and progressive springs from Harley Davidson. These were the main two chapters that the VX was lacking: brakes and suspension. With these things addressed, the bike runs and feels very solid.
The bad things:- needs new tires- the exhaust is scuffed (but still does the job and sound good)- the fuel tank is scratched - the paint is faded- minor rust traces
