There are couple of small blemishes on the frame paint but nothing that detracts from the overall look of the bike. This bike has won various shows and still looks very presentable. The tank and rear mudguard have been lacquered over patina.
It was serviced by Classic bike shop in March of this year and not ridden since. gave it quick clean today and it started on the third kick.
The service included stripping, cleaning and balancing carbs.
When bought the bike in 2016, it had digital speedo that wasn't working. managed to locate an identical speedo and at the service this was calibrated. The speedo is showing only 16 miles but have no idea what mileage the engine would have done very little since being rebuilt by the previous owner. have several old MOTs dating back to the 1980s. The highest mileage can find recorded on the bike was in 2009 when it was 29771. have no reason to doubt this is the actual mileage from new. The bike was turned into Bobber some time between 2009 and 2013.
It leaks no oil what-so-ever which is unusual for Triumph of this age.
MOT and Tax exempt, so exceptionally cheap motoring.
Being bobber, there is no rear suspension (just sprung leather tooled seat), no indicators, mirrors or horn. The lights, including brake light all work.
There are no silencers on the exhaust so if you're worried about upsetting the neighbours, this isn't the bike for you.
It has keyless ignition. Just press switch located near the battery and the ignition is on.
It is fitted with manual choke, but you don't need to use it. Just tickle each carb until fuel appears, kick it over and go.
The rear tyre, whilst looking pretty new in terms of tread, has signs of cracking around the outer wall so would probably benefit from changing.
The clutch was stripped and cleaned at the last service but think it could do with changing at some point.
I will be really sorry to see this go. won't take silly offers. don't want to part-exchange anything.
Any questions, please ask. The bike is in Huddersfield, HD8, West Yorkshire.
