This is unique opportunity to purchase my beautiful 1930 BSA H30-8 Deluxe "Sloper". She has the original engine and frame numbers as verified and certified by BSA Owners Club Registrar Steve Foden. This is the Deluxe model which differs from the standard model in the following ways. 1. differently operational petrol tap. This has now been replaced by standard 90 degree tap. 2. Steering damper. 3. slightly more powerful clutch. 4. Different gear ratios. Over the years many improvements have been made to the bike and it is now in tip top condition. Recent work includes: Renovated magneto by Dave Lindsley, New clutch componentry from Comucopia, New carburettor, Re-sleeving of barrel New original piston, valves, valve guides and springs. New headlamp and stop/tail lamp. New headlamp mounting clamps. New pillion pad and footrests. New "Straight Pull" twist grips for magneto and throttle. New seat base springs. also have various old invoices, MOT's and Tax Discs. The bike has competed in Banbury Runs and has earned silver and gold awards, testament to the machine's reliability. It has also competed times in the Ibbenburen Motorrad Veteranen Rallye. She also featured in The Motorbike Book-The Difineitive Visual History" page 88, Published by Dorling Kindersley in 2012.
