PLEASE READ FULLY! two Yamaha diversion 600s had blue one quite while, bought as project some time ago, last on road 2014,been stored since in yard under cover so tatty! blue one has keys but no v5,red one has no keys/v5 although got v5 application form to fill in for whichever used if id have finished project,,covered in scratches, cobwebs, rust and generally untidy! seat ripped although base good (seen em offered on ebay) damage to front of fairing (see pics) good news is electrics ok,lights/indicators,brake lights all work when tried them with powerpack, two weeks ago undid spark plugs and put fuel down bores and she fired up! (again off powerpack,no battery present) then decided to track down another bike as donor and found one last week locally advertised on ebay (if you've been looking for divvy, you may have seen it (paid £250) this is the red one! the fairing on this one is good,as are the exhaust down pipes and end cans,(end cans on blue one tatty although downpipes on both good) seat knackered but again, base good! tank badly rusted but one on blue one good, front and back lights on both machines undamaged, bars on one rusty but not as bad on other, could go on and on but you get the picture by now, basically bad bits on blue one are ok/usable off the red one (haven't tried to get red one running so don't know if it goes or not) so my intention was to make one good one from the two in café racer style,by sourcing new seat unit, round headlight, ace bars etc etc off ebay but unfortunately both bikes round at an elderly gents on my street as ive no space at mine and after few hours last couple of weekends without much progress, ive realised with kids/full time work, its going to take forever, seemed good idea at time but ill never get it done so great opportunity for retired person or someone with mechanical know how and time! bought hardback Haynes manual at £20 that can throw in,please be aware these bikes are in need of renovation and are being sold as project and cannot be ridden away,a van will be needed! require cash on collection from preston lancs.collection/payment within days of purchase,uk bidders only.
