Together we can draw on our experience of Road and Off Road machines and source our customers here in the UK some great motorcycles to ride now and for future investment. This is £168 within the mainland UK (sorry not Scotland this is slightly more). It is done with professional bike courier that we work with. They are two wheel trans if you want to discuss this more with them. All of our motorcycles are available for you to view at our workshop. We would like £200 deposit to be paid to us within 48 hours to show you are serious buyer and secure the bike. The balance is payable on collection of the motorcycle or in full before delivery is arranged. Our preferred payment methods are Bank Transfer or Cash on Collection. If you have any questions regarding our sales please feel free to contact us. We will get back to you as soon as possible.Registering an Import MotorcycleYou hear lot of horror stories and chinese whispers about registering an import motorcycle for use in the UK. We will give you everything you need to get your purchase from us registered here in the UK. Nova – Notice Of Vehicle Arrival: This is the most important one to make registering it hassle free. We register every motorcycle we import with HMRC on their NOVA scheme. Any import tax or duties that are due are paid by us and most importantly this is all done within the timescales set by HMRC. So you have to do nothing. We will give you the NOVA reference number, so DVLA can recognise it on their system if needed. Date of Manufacture: This is something you will need to register it with DVLA. Most of our motorcycles have the original logbook with them from the country they have been imported from. This is given to you when you purchase the bike and the date of manufacture is on this. If however no logbook is available. This can be because it has been lost, the machine was never registered for road use (quite often the case with Enduro Trail machines), or no logbook available from the country it came from. Then we can either arrange dating certificate for you (This currently will cost you £25) or we can give you list on contacts that will be able to do this for you. MOT: The motorcycle will need to be MOT’d before registering. Any motorcycle MOT centre can do this for you. Of course you have no registration plate at this point. So they will MOT the motorcycle and put just the frame number on the MOT. Cost is the same as normal MOT, so don’t let them charge you anymore for this service.Road Tax: When you make the registration application to DVLA. You will need to tax the vehicle. Details of this are on the DVLA V55/5 form. Cost depends on the motorcycle’s cc.Application of UK Registration: You will need V55/5 form from DVLA. You can order one online from DVLA and they will even send you guide of how to fill it out with it. However you will still be confused! The form is designed for all vehicles from Mopeds to Minibuses. This means most of the categories do not need to be completed for Motorcycle. Best way to know which to fill out is to get an existing UK motorcycle logbook and this will tell you what categories are used. We can help you with this form if you need advice. It’s not as bad as it looks J. Then you send this form with the £55 registration fee and all the other paperwork requested. (MOT, Logbook or Dating Certificate, evidence of your UK home address, etc)Then you are done. Normally takes DVLA 2-3 weeks to send you UK V5 logbook with the motorcycles registration number. Don’t worry it will not be on “Q” reg, DVLA will give you an age related reg number.
