 Yamaha FZR 1000 Exup 1992

I bought this bike for nostalgic reasons but unfortunately due to lack of time and usage decided it really needs to go to someone who will use and appreciate her.  Plus free up some room at home.
 
It is quite tidy bike for its age and mileage, new plugs fitted 100 miles ago and had the carbs calibrated on dyno of which gave impressive readings for 24 year old bike must say and rides really well for its age!!

However Now the downside.....Before put it up for sale took it for MOT.
Unfortunatley failed its MOT this week on:

Tyre Valves are perished
Front fork seals leaking (prob from standing months)
Rear brake disc as small cracks in it
oh and the rear reflector is missing (does anyone have one on there 20 plus year old bike lol)
 
I just haven't got the time to do the repairs even though the parts cost is only small
(all can be sourced for around ??60)

There are few crackly paint areas but nothing major, some around the tank and the side fairing by knee and few light scratches... that bit you'd expect due to its age!
There is crack in the front mudguard but it is intact.
Fires up sweet and rides well, bit grogy when low then pulls as all exups do, then its like missile when you open it up.
i think have done less than 250 miles in the just short of years owning this bike.
 
It does have painted blue wheels and there are few places around the bike with surface rust, mainly needs little TLC.
Fuel pump reserve all working fine
All electrics as normal
All in all will make great bike for someone who as time to do the little jobs .
after all its not new and it does have few faults but still going strong
