2001 Yamaha Fazer FZS 600 '51' PlateI have owned this bike now for just over years. bought it on 03-11-2012 from what was the 3rd owner. have the log book and it is in my name.I have put around 4000 mile on it in that time.The mileage is 24101 but this will rise as it out of MOT and is booked in Wednesday morning 05-04-2017. forgot that had took it month early last year and the reminder on my phone was still for April.I have old MOT certs going back to 2004 with some service history. keys.It was originally bought from Carnells in Doncaster on 01-10-2001 by someone in Pontefract then sold to someone from Wakefield then to someone in Harrogate then to myself.In the time have owned it, it has been inside out of the weather as it was before bought it but before that don't know, it doesn't look to have been neglected. have had the bike apart all except the engine and front forks. did this couple of year ago to clean and grease it.There are some age related marks on the bodywork, the forks has the usual lacquer peel but the seals are fine. The front of the engine has the usual paint peel, when had the exhaust off was going to paint it but for what it was it didn't bother me that much so left it.I have fitted tyres around 500 mile age, Bridgestone S20's as don't ride it that much but need to know that there is decent rubber under me!It had new chain last year as it was an advisory from the MOT. didn't bother changing the sprockets (I know) as they aren't that bad yet. have dropped tooth on the front but do have the one took off (somewhere).New pads front and back 1000 mile old. One of the pistons in the back brake was seized so cleaned it and fitted new seals and put in some fresh fluid. Fresh fluid in the front brakes. New coolant. Swingarm greased. Polished all round.I have converted the headlight to both as well when had it in bits.The original tool kit is under the seat. It has radiator cover fitted. Engine bars.It has double bubble screen fitted but still have the original which will go with the bike.In my eyes mint but would say its tidy for the age of it.Ideal bike for work, commuting. In the time have owned it has never let me down. Been started and warmed up every month when not being ridden. It gets regular oil changes and couple of new spare filters to go with it. Its had an optimiser fitted to it as soon as brought it home.
