Welcome to the sale of my 1999 R6
Iv own this bike since April 2010 and she has been bullet proof. The bike has amazing low mileage @ 13800miles on the clock and only done 1790miles since 2012 and 100miles since the last MOT.
My reason for selling is due to me no longer getting change to ride her since we had our first child just over year ago. Now trying for our second so there is NO CHANCE of me getting back on the bike any time soon.
GOOD THINGS Custom paint job- TRV Two Tone Green/Purple - Done before brought the bike. Its not perfect but she still looks amazing. 8/10.She rides and handles perfectly Sound fantastic but not loudBrakes are perfect and have loads of life left.Front tyre has plenty of tread. Comes with big number plate for MOT's6 months MOT left.Two keys, Extra grippe pillion seat cover, V5 present,NOT SO GOOD THINGS (Remembering this bike is 17 years old)The springs are missing for the exhaust. (currently using cable ties)Rear tyre tread low The rectifier has been moved to stop it over heating (Common problem for the 1999 R6) but not been finished. Only needs two holes drilled and two bolts pitting in.There are some very minor scuffs but there hardly noticeable.Some ****** stole my sprint steering damper in carpark (The bracket and everything is all there, Please see pic) Does not affect the bike in any way.Could just do with bit of clean in hard to reach places
