Hi, offered for sale is my very tidy Yamaha XJ650. have always wanted 350 lc but i'm too tall and too fat for one of those so bought this instead.I was attracted to her because she is generally in original condition. The silencers aren't original and the fuel tank has been unprofessionally re-sprayed, but it is at least the original tank!!The pictures make her look lot better than she is, the paint is faded and top end of the engine looks tatty. have however started to clean lot of bits up, including having the fork legs re-chromed at Philpotts, new oil seals, oil and springs.I have had the foot rest hangers and fork bottoms re-lacquered to clean them up and the finish is very original looking.I have polished the rear brake drum and indicators, re-chromed the rear brake lever, brake arm and grab rails  and fitted new brake shoes and front brake pads. New Avon Road Rider tyres fitted front and rear.the bike was serviced last year by the dealer bought it from, as have done only about 1000 miles on her, have not done any further work.The dealer did some research through the DVLA and as far as he could tell the mileage is genuine, so that's 10,500 miles from new, owners- she even has the original toolkit and lock.The only reason I'm selling her (don't laugh) is because have an overriding desire to fully restore her, and that would be shame- the previous owners have done very well to keep her in remarkable condition and think she needs to be owned and loved by someone who will appreciate her for what she is- not what she could be- and don't have the room to do it anyway!!      I am sure there is lot more could tell you about the bike, if you want more information please ring me on 07469 885355 any emails will try to answer as quickly and as honestly as can but work long hours so please forgive any delay.All the usual stuff applies, if you buy it, will hold you to the sale, no timewasters or tyre kickers, I will not export the bike or swap it for camel, viewing highly recommended, but no test rides without the money in my sticky little mitt first. thanks for looking!! cash on collection please.
