Hi, For sale if my XJ900F.  Bike is in good original condition (apart from fuel tank, see below) with very little corrosion and reasonably low mileage of around 42300 (may vary slightly as still giving it the odd ride to avoid leaving it unused).  MOT is until 30 June 2017.  V5 document present and two keys.
Before bought the bike earlier this year, it had had two previous owners with the last keeper owning the bike since 1995.  If you view my feedback you can see the purchase in my EBay history.
Some features of the bike are:
Jama stainless steel silencers in excellent condition; Hagon rear shocks; Kappa luggage system with side panniers and 28-litre top box with keys for both the panniers have few scuff marks.
Bagster leather tank cover and tank bag.  Both tyres lots of tread, rear was new replacement in July due to nail in the original.
Main negatives are:
>Fuel tank has been replaced by the previous owner with new tank which is in perfect condition but the tank decals are not the original colour scheme so don't match the side panels if the tank cover is not used (they are though completely hidden by the tank cover).  Positive is that the common tank rusting problem is not an issue with this bike.
>There is Datatool system alarm fitted but the system does not arm properly and needs to be left in maintenance mode when the ignition is off.  In this mode the alarm will sound if the bike is started without disabling with the remote but the anti-tamper trigger will not work (e.g. if someone tries to remove the seat).  There are two remote controls for the alarm, spare fuse and instruction manual and original installation certificate.

There are number of useful service spares from the previous owner, e..g pair of rocker cover gaskets, various seals  oil filter rings etc, bulbs, and spare CDI unit.  Also, pair of chrome rear indicators and riding lights which removed but the wiring for the latter is still in place.   There is also Haynes workshop manual.
Although only bought the bike earlier in the summer have found it too heavy and cumbersome for general riding, though do like it on long runs, so I've decided to sell now rather than let it sit outside over the winter as don't intend keeping it to ride next year.
I welcome any inspection/testing or any viewing to see the condition and hear the bike running but no test rides (unless by professional inspection e.g. AA/RAC etc).  Located not far from the Horsehoe Pass, Llangollen
Any other info, please ask.
Further to some queries from EBayers regarding the engine condition and carbs:  there is no absolutely no hint of smoke from the exhaust either when starting or running cold or hot.  Also, the bike accelerates smoothly from below 2000 rpm throughout the rev range so no hesitation, misfire or flat spots.  The bike does have braided brake pipes.  Hope this helps but again recommend viewing if possible.
