I imported this motorcycle from South Africa having been totally rebuilt in 2016 and although have only had it just over year, have not had the opportunity to ride that often and being collector of these motorcycles I’m running out of space and hence the sale.  It’s classic and although the serial number states 1976 model, DVLA will only register it as 40 years and older as of April 2020 where after it will no longer require TAX or MOT.  We have changed the 6V system to 12V and it presently appears to be running great. Note: It is classic and must always be treated as such so cannot provide any guarantees other than to say its in very good condition. The motorcycle is presently SORN and the new owner will need to MOT and Tax again. Being top of my list to keep since being in such good condition, but as said space is my problem. Aluminium tank is optional £50 extra due to small sections of paint cracked and peeling on the XT500 long range plastic tank as shown. Mileage noted above was in km but dial has been changed to miles.
