Yamaha YBR 125cc2011 (61)14k Miles
Up for reluctant sale is my faithful YBR 125. As far as learner bike goes you couldn't ask for much more. This bike starts on the button, sounds ridiculous and costs next to nothing to run, tax and insure.
Lets get the bad points out of the way early: - no MOT; ran out just before Winter (November) and the bike has been indoors since, currently working away so haven't put it through but if get little to no interest you can expect to see her re-listed soon with an appropriate price adjustment.- paintwork is not fantastic, see pics for an idea; the victim of at least two paint jobs, she comes up fairly well with bit of Auto Glym, all things considered. - seat is torn in two places; easily fixed with an aftermarket cover or relatively cheap whole new seat, even easier fixed with gorilla tape.- clutch lever bent; another inexpensive fix, even cheaper if you just ignore it.- slightly melted front lens; remember, 30w up front not 50w.- right pillion footrest missing; no great loss seeing as you really wouldn't want to be two-up on this, the suspension likely wouldn't handle it anyway, and the bracket is currently doing sterling job of keeping the exhaust on.- scuffs; of which there are many, will help to ease the pain of your own fledgling cock-ups.
Still here? Great. On to the best parts:- Leo Vince Corsa exhaust (£200+ new); your neighbours will no doubt sing chorus of praises as you head off to work at 7am and just in case they don't it will come with an aftermarket baffle. No one will ever guess it's 125 before they see it.- new battery; August 2018, replaced after having electric starter issue, only used on couple of rides before being locked away.- fuel injection model; very reliable, excellent on cold mornings.- combo electric/kickstart; always handy in pinch.- tyres; good few miles left in both, although front is newer.
Not happy to see it go but the summer is around the corner and it's time for big boy bike. Runs and rides, but, as mentioned currently no MOT! Test rides? I'm sure we can work something out.
Also open to trades for 600cc beginner bikes. Ideally we're talking an XJ600N in Black but similar bikes (Bandit, CB600) would seriously be considered. Try me!
If you have any other questions or want specific details please feel free to call or text me, Marshall, on 07876 144111.
This bike is advertised elsewhere too.
