RELISTED DUE TO NO SHOWING NON PAYING TIME WASTER, NO PX, NO SWAPS,NO BUY IT NOW PRICE. ANYONE WITH LESS THAN 20 POSITIVE FEEDBACK CONTACT ME FIRST IF GENUINE, OTHERWISE WILL CANCEL YOUR BIDS. YAMAHA YZF R1 XV4  First registered in the UK on 07 04 98, 38581 miles, just serviced and MOT`d  (no advises) mechanically excellent, clean and tidy and ready for summer fun.I purchased this bike as Cat (cosmetic damage) it had right hand middle fairing damage, nose fairing/mirror/indicator/exhaust etc. On stripping the bike down the coolant tank and radiator also showed damage so these were replaced along with all the other parts. The right hand middle fairing is an expensive new old stock item in factory paint however the entire bike has been repainted at an earlier time and although very presentable it isn't to factory standard but the bike is accordingly priced.Im life long biker, and mechanic, ive owned/serviced/repaired my 1999 R1 from new and have worked on many others and would not sell bike that wasn't completely happy with! Its got fresh oil/filter, fresh coolant, fresh brake fluid, new rear pads, the calipers and pistons have been cleaned and checked, everything that has been removed has been torqued back up to the correct settings on replacement. The bike starts first time and accelerates as an R1 should (like missile) there are no nasty noises and the clutch/transmission is perfect Transmission is better  than my own which bought new and has a slight whine) the bike stops and corners perfectly and if you remove your hands from the bars at any speed it tracks straight and true. It has tail tidy, braided brake lines, LED rear lights/front indicators, small number plate, tinted double bubble screen. The tyres and chain and sprockets are in good order, recent VOSA History is 2016/ 33,806 miles 2017 /37,418 miles 2018/ 38,017 miles 2019 38580 miles, one key/V5 present in my  name. There is no buy it now price so please don't ask, the reserve is set at roughly what it has cost me.Remember, this bike will knock on the door of 180mph, it will accelerate from mph to 100mph and back to 0mph again in the time it takes sports car to reach 60mph. Under acceleration it will leave supercars costing £70/100k as little dots in its mirrors. paid £10.5k for my 1999 model and thought then (and still do) that it was an absolute bargain for that kind of performance. The buyer of this 1998 model will get exactly the same performance for fraction (approx. 20%) of what paid in 1999, whats not to like?   Any questions or to arrange viewing strongly advised so you know fully what you are bidding on) either message me via ebay or contact me (Peter) on 07721 764690. Cash on collection preferred but bank transfer is fine (the bike will not be released before the funds have fully cleared) NO TIME WASTERS OR SCAMMERS PLEASE! IM FULLY STOCKED ON GOLD MINE SHARES ETC WASNT BORN YESTERDAY. HAPPY BIDDING!
