I have owned it since March 2014. Has been well maintained by previous owners and myself.
Spark plugs replaced and carburettors serviced July 2015; oil, filter, clutch bleed and coolant service March 2015.

Overall condition is excellent as you can see in the photos (can take more if people have specific requests). couple of bits of garage rash from the previous owner but nothing that detracts from the appearance of the bike small superficial scuff here and there, and couple of small cracks to the lower fairing only noticeable on close inspection.

Tyres are good, brakes work well, chain and sprocket were advised on the MOT, but it wasn't my usual mechanice took it to and I'm not convinced. can send photos of the sprocket if you require, but the teeth don't seem worn or hooked at all (I suspect the guy was poaching for more work).

Selling due to lack of use and it seems shame for her to sit around only done 600 miles since the MOT in 2015...

Fantastic to ride, single or two up; comfortable and effortlessly fast. MCN said, "the Thunderace has proved to be better big bore sports touring motorcycle than out-and-out superbike ??“ albeit humungously fast one. If you like your superbikes big and brash and with room for two, the Yamaha YZF1000R Thunderace now represents great value."

This is an honest, decent, genuine low-mileage example of superb bike. am after ??1800 ono (sensible offers considered) am not in hurry to sell. Message me if you have any questions.
