Here is a great project for someone that wants something different. This is 1939 Ford door convertible. This is great project to build it how you want to. What I have here is project that was started and never finished. Starting out the frame and chassis is in great condition, frame solid, front and rear end roll nicely and sits nicely. Has some decent old matching white wall tires on original rims. Has an older reproduction grille that is bolted in place with nice hood. Front fenders are decent, has good running boards and rear fenders are decent. One thing about this project is that it has good coat of filler all the way around the body. The front doors look to be decent as the do the rear doors, the rockers are gone. The firewall is nice and windshield area guy took out the center post and was putting in car windshield frame, soo the windshield has lot of filler built up. Car has a decent floor, needs to be fit in. looks like they took the floor mounted it to the frame, put the body over the frame and tacked it together, as you can see the rear floor is still part of the body and original floor under it. Doors all open and close no guts in them tho, bare doors. Has the rear deck lid which is this car only. Car is project, may be restorable or would be a cool hot rod to fitxup and drive around. What you see is what have for this car in this auction. Im selling this as is as shown for parts or a project. There is a current title that goes with this for the car. Great project for low starting bid. Im located in northern IL. Would like car picked up within week of auction ending as its outside and I don't have storage for it.
