If you are interested in an All Original VintageAntique Pickup Truck this 1941 Chevrolet AK Series Pickup is just what you havebeen looking for.I purchased this truck in 2007 from fellow inMarina Del Ray California where it had been stored for some 30 years.  When purchased it, it barely ran so my wifeand towed it back to Northern Ca. and began the restoration journey.  The engine is 216 cu.in. cylinder with 6volt electrical system and is mated to 3-Speed Manual Transmission. The truckhad 28,932 original miles on the speedometer. The Cluster has since beenrestored and now reads 122 miles.  As faras can tell this is the original Acrylic Lacquer paint which hasbecome chipped and cracked over the last 75 years as would be expected but isstill very glossy.  This is Great looking truck with its largeFront grill and Split hood.  All of thewindows work great and the Windshield cranks open and closed. This truck is completely stockand stunning in appearance and does include the Optional Heater/Defroster andthe AM Radio.  The body style of thisclassic pickup boasts beautiful red and black.These half-ton series Chevytrucks were built on 115 inch wheelbase chassis and equipped with 16-inch wheelson 6.00x16 6-ply tires.  These aspects enable this truck to cradle thebalance between performance and appeal.
