am relisting due to high bidder who went AWOL after the auction. If you are new to eBay with "zero" feedback, please contact me before bidding. 1946 Chevy Truck. I believe it is 3/4 ton long bed but could be wrong as am not that familiar with these trucks. The truck is in pretty good overall condition for its age and I'll do my best to provide complete description. The good parts very little rust in the cab, the back corners, doors, and sills all look really good. The glass is in good shape for it's age. The doors open and close well. Windows roll down, but bit sticky. The seat is in good condition. The tires all hold air. the paint has great patina as you can see from the photos. The gauges are there. It has really cool old radio that looks original to the truck. The knobs work well, but haven't put power to it to see how it works. The steering works well. The right fenders and hood appear to be in real good shape. The ok and not so good. It rolls freely, but does not run. It is missing the left side running board (it comes with pair of short running boards that could be used if desired). The left side fenders need some work. The front fender has some rust at the bottom in the rear (see picture). The rear fender is missing chunk where the strap tore out the metal (there is rough spare fender that should be able to be used for patch material). The tailgate fits well, but the latches to secure it closed are not lined up with slots on the bed it looks good, but apparently not exactly right for this bed. The front grill is in really good shape, but the bottom piece does have some fitment issues which leads me to believe it may also be from another truck. The top grill piece looks really nice. The bed is really straight, but is pretty rusty in the front. It does come with pretty good replacement short bed that could be used on the truck if desired. I listed as clear title because none of the ebay options to select looked right. Unfortunately,when got the truck, it only came with title for 1946 1.5 ton truck it will go with this truck (maybe the frame was from 1.5 ton).
