1948 Ford F3 (F68) Pickup Truck. Original Flathead V8 truck. Very solid truck with minimal rust. We can help to arrange to ship anywhere for the buyer. Selling with No Reserve to the highest bidder.
This 48 Ford Series came from Canada. Canadian F3's were badged F68 from 48-50 because of the 6,800lb gross vehicle weight before stepping into line with the US in 51 and badging them as F3's.
The body of this truck is very good, there is very minimal rust and very few dents. There is little rust in the fenders in the usual areas but very minimal. The floorboards and cab corners are excellent. There is some rust in the usual spots on the bedsides but not too bad. The original wooden bed floor is in pretty good shape and only partially rotted. Often they are completely rotted away. The hood side emblems which say 'Ford' are missing in the photos but have since sourced them and fitted them to the truck. The interior is complete. The tires hold air and it rolls freely. It has its original Flathead V8 which does not run. Overall good solid basis for project.
