1952 Chevy COE, Cabover, this truck is stuffed with 1994 12valve Cummins has aftermarket exhaust brake (not wired up) and backed with rebuilt nv4500 speed has auxiliary overdrive unit (I have not hooked it up can't find wiring diagram)the chassis started as early 80's dodge motor home, the rear end the is the matching 94 Dana 80 dually axle and has posi traction, truck the drivetrain came out of was said to have around 100,000 miles, which is just broke in for Cummins!!! Truck is bagged front and rear, just simple set up to lift the front and lift the rear, the front bags are 2600 lbs. each and the rears are large Volvo truck bags, so guy could haul house with this thing!!!! Power Disk brakes up front and drum rear rear. This may be the only first series Chevy truck with custom pop out front windshields!!!!! They work great and look awesome!!!!! New upholstery inside, just needs headliner, custom dash is one of kind (needs longer speedo cable to be functional) simple little delivery truck seats give the inside clean industrial look!! The wing window is cracked (but like it) and have replacement for it that will go with truck, rear window also has crack(again kind of like it) the rest of glass is in good shape, the truck has trailing arm with diagonal upper link rear suspension, so has lots of travel and rides great!! Power steering, truck had power windows but they are jamming up, so this week am putting stock window cranks in it and will be in before end of auction, also has shaved door handles with aftermarket latches and electric poppers!! So doors shut nice and easy!! The cab was sand blasted and the body work is basically ready for shinny paint!! So it is just painted to look like patina, but the bed is real rust and patina from forward cab jeep, so the idea was to try and match it on the rest of truck!! This thing has so much that is one off that can't list it all!!! was trying to build this thing to look like it was factory built truck that had survived for nearly 70 years!! And drop it in the weeds and tuck the big old duals under the rear fenders!!
