This is 1954 3100 /5 window from Florida. bought the truck basically in this condition as aproject and have other projects need to finish first. It was built as apro-street but I’m sure could be converted to pro touring without too much troubleat this stage. Body; it has inchchop that was professionally done and overall fits well and the work looks verygood after years. The cab is very solid throughout with the exception of some of the metal on the inside rocker returnsunder the cab. The floor is very solid as is the dash and straight doors etc. and it has power windows with solid glass minusthe vents. The front fenders are paint ready with new headlight kits, the rearsare solid but driver condition. Bed is solid and straight. Hood is Fair but Ido have the reverse hood flip kit. Has rolled rear pan and new bowtie tailgate.Running boards are fair cond. originals. Have power seats and store boughtinterior kit with carpet. Steering column not connected at this point.Chassis: Originalframe with New Competition Engineering Backhalf with link Strange coilovers,Was told new Currie narrowed Ford 9 inch can’t find I.D. front has Heidts Mustang II front end withFlaming River Billet power rack and pinion.Cab overview most important. Chop, very good. Bodywork onroof appears to be done well doors seams are close but not 100% yet paintready. Firewall very good. Back cab panel solid and very good. Floor is solidbut still has some original openings not filled and pedals still there. Outer rockersgood but behind some rust that can send pics of Doors seem very solid andvery straight could use new latches and handles, no door poppers in yet. Wheels Billet Splecialties: The rear wheels are 14.5 16 a few years old but never been on the street,the fronts 16 are the same but were still in the boxes until monthsago. Rear tires still have stickers but are 10 yrs? 31 18 s.The frame is the original so, look at the pictures closely .it is very solid but it is not finished. The back half was new and theattachment is started decently but will need more to complete, the tubs arefair at best and it is set up for fuel cell but all this work was done yearsago and there are probably new applications for some of the items. The bed isnot secured permanently. It will travel ok. The Heidts front end work looks tobe done ok and there is tubular transmission mount installed. also have a700 J-W Racing trans available never used that would be very reasonable ifyou buy this truck.Remember though that this is project truck and some of thework is mocked up for fit. The truck is now located just outside Chicago andhas been stored in heated garage since being brought up years ago. It has aclear Florida Title and am setting very reasonable reserve on this truck. Iknow what the pro tourings can bring and was tempted but have something Iwant to complete first so I’m going to make some room. will reserve the rightto end the auction early but most likely won’t.
