Really nice 64 Impala going up for auction.  All glass is good. All windows roll up and down. No leaks.  Engine and tranny (350 turbo) rebuilt years ago.  Approx. 12k on drive train. Has 3:55 gears.  Paint is years old. Still looks very good.  Has one inch chip on passenger side top fender(see pic).  Somebody was bored and threw some object, most likely rock, when was driving home on haloween night.  I did not want to file claim with Hagerty as it was to small and did not want risk getting ripped off at body shop and maybe raise in premium.  Hagerty has it valued at 26K  two years ago and still the same this year. just renewed policy last month.Brakes are still good from new install two years ago. Car has good heater. New aftermarket radio and speakers last year.  New tires also. 95% tread.  Rear trunk is clean with spare and jack. Floor of rear pan is starting to flake paint off.  No rust.  Underside was cleaned last year. floor panels showed some deterioration and it was professionally repaired and all panels painted with rust resistant black sealant.  Upper and lower control arms bushings replaced with poly bushings last September.  Front end is still good. All gauges work.  Have aftermarket oil and water gauges. Hurst auto shifter on floor.  Mini Auto Meter tach.  New red safety approved seat belts. Removed black ones and threw away.  Installed New Hedmen coated headers(coating is still on headers, no rust) in Sept. also, with side exit exhaust pipe.  Everything still works great and drives same. 650cfm eldlebrock carb replaced years ago, still working fine. Also, installed manual choke wire from inside. Pics tell the story.  I have Vette that needs some more work, so decide to let Impala go.  Have never raced this car on or off track.  It was in storage from 1996 to 2010.  Garage kept all the time, never driven in bad weather.. Any questions, please feel free to ask.  Will have car detailed in and out for winner.  On Apr-08-16 at 20:15:43 PDT, seller added the following information:To much to remember but also installed new 70 volt HEI last August and new Be Cool radiator to 500HP... Works great, 180 degrees in Oklahoma all the time in 90+ temps..On Apr-09-16 at 12:55:02 PDT, seller added the following information:I need to advise bidders that the car is for sale locally and have right to terminate auction if get good offer.  Another thing need to add is the white covering on the dash is pad with velcro strips that reflects direct sunlight at the dash on hot days.  I try most all the time to park car with front end not facing the sun. If am going to be away from car for more than couple hours, also put up the window shade.  The dash is not cracked   Also, numerous inquiries about the reserve.  At this point in time will say the reserve is around 1/2 the insured value by Hagerty also got questions about the spots on driver door. just checked the car and there are no chips, the pic shows reflection. The marks around the door handle are my finger prints from moving car around, opening and closing door for pics.  I forgot to wipe it off.  Sun was bright enough, just did not see the area around door handle. You probably already know but if you do not, the pic of the front of car, if you click the big pic, it you can see closer pics of car.  I am open and will consider reasonable offers.   thanksOn Apr-09-16 at 17:51:58 PDT, seller added the following information:Something has gone wrong the way it set up.  Now you can click on any small pic and if the hand shows on the big pic. you can click it and the gallery photos will come up.
