1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Convertiblesame owners since 1991
MissChiTown is happy to bring you this 1964 ½ FordMustang Convertible.  As most collectorsknow, this was the very first year that the Mustang was offered.  It is known as 1964 ½ and registered as a1965.  This particular car is in red and the ownerbelieves that red may have been the color it was born with.  The private seller also believes that theinterior is original but he had the seats restitched while ago.  The radio has been upgraded to include acassette (the original radio is in the trunk). The owner believes that everything else on the car is original.  The seller has taken the car on trips as faras 200 miles and he says the engine purrs and the car runs very well.  The private seller believes the V8 engine tobe original as well as the 3-speed automatic transmission on the floor.  The owner states that the car runs great and thecar has regular maintenance and with maintenance records going back about nineyears.  This car has been owned by thesame couple since 1991 and they enjoy the car every summer.   The car is equipped with power steering.  The private seller believes the 92,714 milesto be original and he believes that the car is all original except for theupgraded radio and the new tires he put on the car 2-3 years ago and they probablyhave less then 500 miles on them. Very seldom do you see an honest Mustang thathas not been abused or restored in manner that takes away from theoriginality.   The reserve is set very low so that everybody canbid to win.  This is great car for summerfun!  The early Mustang convertibles aresome of the most iconic cars of the 1960s. You can bid to win and be happy that you did!
